ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10 / 10427 – S / 9106)

My experience with the ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106) and it’s FUN!

This ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106) was my first 1/10 scale rc car and so far, for me, it’s doing very well! I have not had major problems with it so far! Only a few times I broke the front lower arm. So i think this is an perfect beginners car. It’s quite cheap, durable, fast and parts are easy to get if you don’t mind waiting a few weeks for it! My suggestion is, if you buy the ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106), order some lower arms with it!

The shell of the ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106) is hard plastic, I think and therefor breaks easily so before you start put some reinforcement tape around the holes for the body posts!

But beside this, I’m not an hard basher so if you’re looking for that, I don’t know how this ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106) holds up!

The next thing I’m planning to do is upgrade it to 3S and see how it holds up!

I upgraded the ESC to an 60A ESC so that it can run on 3S. It runs great! Faster, quite stable and more fun!

After that I took it to the beach again and broke it! Turns out it just had to dry up so it works again!

I will take the ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10/ 10427 – S / 9106) to the beach more often and make some videos! I also want to do a speed run with the ZD Racing Thunder (ZMT-10) on the beach! I will do this in the future!

Update 2020-11-11

I took it to the beach again and this time it really broke. I will take it apart, see what’s broken and rebuild it!
